"As a Creative Director at Factory Design Labs, I work with quite a few Photographers year after year to help bring conceptual ideas and campaigns to life. I consider Hesh to be one of my absolute favorite photographers to work with. Over the course of the past few years and having worked on a handful of projects together, I have come to know him well. I would highly recommend Hesh for any project where capturing the essence of people and/or place is vital.
Hesh and I first met working together on a integrated ad campaign for Revo sunglasses. On this project, Hesh worked as the Photo Assistant and Second Photographer. The second day into the month long project it became clear the lead photographer relied heavily on Hesh for his technical knowledge of lighting, exposure, and composition. We were photographing some fairly well known people with challenging personalities and this is where Hesh’s key attributes as a photographer became glaringly obvious. Hesh is extremely outgoing and has a knack for drawing people out and getting them to open up.
Since then I have pulled Hesh in to run several projects. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to leverage his range and versatility in terms of aesthetic and approach. Hesh is more than a photographer; he is a creative problem solver with an amazing work ethic. We’ve created campaigns together that range from photographing tattooed men with beards to high fashion models and a few things in-between. The one constant is Hesh’s uncanny ability to truly capture people’s personality.
In my opinion, Hesh’s unwavering passion for his craft exemplifies what it means to go beyond simply taking a picture. He is a photographer, visionary, and conceptual thinker through and through. His knowledge, work ethic, and contributions have been invaluable to me over the past few years. If you have any questions regarding this recommendation, please do not hesitate to contact me."
